Isis International is looking for a curator of stories, told in different formats - face to face conversations, audio recordings, videos, written documents, photographs, hand-drawings and computer-generated graphics, among many others. This person must be strategic and sensitive in picking up and re-presenting important messages from diverse materials and create a new material that can be easily shared with and enjoyed by more people.

She or he must be able to deliver on a part-time basis. Every month, this person must be able to

  • Capture critical conversations, staged in Manila or elsewhere (2-3 conversations to be filmed/ recorded and edited per year)
  • Curate historical materials on movement-building among feminists in the South (2-3 collaterals per month)
  • Develop artworks that can accompany writings about emerging initiatives and actors who are challenging new and old forms of misogyny and inequality. You will be working closely with the content developer in keeping the website and social media updated. ((1-2 artworks per month)
  • Ensure that the monthly social media calendars generate a visual impact through interesting and empowering images (Up to 10 collaterals which can mean a lay-out design, illustration and the like)

Yes, this job is home-based but since relationships matter to us, we expect the person to go beyond the confines of e-mails. Expect occasional but short meetings or Skype calls. It is nice to share ideas and plan the next steps through meaningful conversations.

We encourage young people, 18 years old and above, to take risks and submit an expression of interest (EOI), including three samples of their works in different formats.
