Devi Leiper talks about her work at Global Fund for Women, guided by the belief that women's leadership is necessary in overcoming challenges faced by women, and that aside from physical resources (such as equipment), funding is meant to support women in all of the work that they do. She then shares some examples of the work done by GFW fundees who could not be at the CSW, including femLINK pacific in Fiji, Messenger Band in Cambodia, Women and Children's Crisis Centre in Tonga, and the Feminist Approach to Technology in India, who all use different forms of media in their advocacy work to address women's issues.
